Baseball/Softball Coaches increased interest in Eyewear

As stated last week we have recently completed exhibiting at a variety of Softball and Baseball Coaches Clinics throughout the country.
When I first started representing Bangerz I was often asked for “flip-up” style sunglasses that baseball and softball players could wear.  Today I am no longer asked for “flip-ups” as baseball and softball players at all levels are wearing sunglasses at bat and in the field.

Today we see most Major League baseball players wearing sunglasses during pregame warmups and many have continued wearing them during the game.  This trend has trickled down to all levels of play where we see players from college to little league using sunglasses on the field. It’s even cool to prop your eyewear on the visor of your hat when they are not in use.

Our concern at Bangerz is that wearing the improper eyewear could actually be doing a player more harm than good.  Many types of sunglasses that offer UV protection are not impact resistant and could actually cause more injury to a player than if they wore no eyewear.

That’s where Bangerz can step in and solve the problem.  All Bangerz sports eye protection adhere to strict ASTM standards that result in the following benefits if they are struck by a ball -
  1. Bangerz sunglass frames will not break
  2. The polycarbonate lenses will not  break
  3. The polycarbonate lenses will not pop out
  4. At no time will any part of the eyewear come in contact with the eye
So not only are we providing you with high quality sunglasses that will enhance your vision and protect your eyes from the harmful rays of the sun; we’ll also be protecting your eyes if they get hit by a batted or thrown ball.

And the best part is you don’t have to spend over $100 to protect your eyes. All Bangerz sunglass style sports eye protection is very affordable, ranging in price from $39.99 - $44.99.

We think the choice is clear – this season if you want to Protect Your Eyes, Wear Bangerz!
